Salsa always tastes better at restaurants.
When I came across this recipe I knew I had to give it a go.While I used half the amount of jalapeƱo, this was HOT HOT HOT but still delicious.
yield: ~3C salsa
ingredients
28oz can of whole peeled tomatoes, drained
1-2 jalapeƱos (depending on how much spice you like)
1 small yellow onion, quartered
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp sugar
Juice of 1 small lime
directions
- Place all ingredients in a food process or blender (I used my Vitamix).
- Puree until smooth.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
- Enjoy!
