This recipe is filling, easy, and prepping the night before makes it super easy to grab and go.
1 ripe banana, mashed
2 tbs chia seeds
1/3 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2/3 C milk (I used organic skim)
1/3 C water
2 tbs sliced almonds
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground ginger
- In a medium bowl (a container with a lid makes it very convenient for grab and go), stir together all oatmeal ingredients until well combined.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Microwave bowl for 2 minutes on high.
- Stir in toppings.
