The recipe calls for walnuts, but I love me some chocolate hazelnut anything so I opted for hazelnuts instead.
Chewy, delicious, and not overwhelmingly sweet - these cookies were a hit!

1C butter, room temperature
1.5C sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
2C all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp sea salt
2C semisweet chocolate chips
1/2C chopped hazelnuts
directions

- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
- Add flour mixture into butter mixture slowly, until well blended.
- Fold in chocolate chips and hazelnuts.
