Rose Sauce

This recipe is by far my roommate Danielle's favorite. We put it over 5 cheese tortellini for "Tortellini Rose". This recipe is good for 1-1.5 lbs of tortellini.

1 pint heavy cream
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 C Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dry parsley
Pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbs tomato paste

  1. Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat
  2. Stir in cream, garlic, parsley, and pepper
  3. Stir in cheese and tomato paste until well blended
  4. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring regularly.
  5. Enjoy!
